I don't have to travel much, if ever, for my job. But I had an opportunity to go to the Orthopaedic Trauma Association annual meeting in Minneapolis in October. Meetings all day, dinners at night, and some shopping (Mall of America!) too. This is Stephanie, my co worker.
One of the football days I took the kids to Winnsboro to the SC Railroad Museum with my mom. It was a pretty cool thing to do. It took us on a ride for maybe 30-45 minutes, then we stopped and got off to browse through the pumpkins they had set out in a field. It was a fun afternoon activity. My kids were slightly young for it, but we still enjoyed it.
Baby dedication
We recently joined Taylors First Baptist Church and wanted to have Savannah and Ben dedicated. After we had Savannah, she was off on sleep and then with the colic and reflux etc we got out of going to church. We were invited to Taylors by a friend and decided to give it a try. We were more warmly welcomed than any other church we had been to, which is saying something since it's a Southern Baptist church. They have great programs for kids and we have just felt at home. Since Gretchen had already been dedicated, we decided to do Savannah and Ben. Here is a side seat pic.
Halloween
We went to Denver Downs Farm for their Halloween fun. Only came out with one pic of Savannah on the hayride.
Halloween is more fun now that the kids are a little older. We went to our neighborhood Halloween party in one of the culdesacs and visited friends. Came back and went through the neighborhood. Jenny and Ashleigh came over to pass out candy while we were out, and then watched Ben after he had had enough. Then we went as long as the girls could handle it. They had a great time! and Dave and I did, with a little help from the beer fridge and Appleton :)
Funny, cause this was last year :) I love watching my babies grow!
Not gonna lie, this makes me laugh out loud.
