18 month stats

Here are Gretchen's 18 month stats:

Head circumference: 17.91 inches (22.03%) down from 17.72 inches (25.44%)at 15 months
(? yeah, I'm sure one of those measurements is wrong...)

Length: 32 inches (61.93%) up from 29.25 inches (17.22 %) at 15 months.Big jump here.

Weight: 24.81 lbs (58.84%) up from 50.94% or 22.81 lbs at 15 month appt.

On another note, we are done with the paci. It was about as bad as I expected. The first night was a nightmare, and it's gotten better since. Sometimes she wakes up in the morning looking for it. She looks around outside her crib thinking she dropped it and says (over and over) uh-oh! Part of me wanted to let her keep it until longer (so she could continue to be my baby) but the doctor said it was time. Oh well. At least we have our pictures!

This was taken in January, probably the last one of her with it. She was soooo tired that day!

Hooray for no paci.... It won't be as easy getting rid of the bottles, though. Unless you do what we mistakenly did to Dan. We decided that we were going to have a major show in the morning and throw the bottles in the trash. And we did in front of him. Both Peggy and I said we'd get the bottles out of the trash "just in case" but long story short was neither of us did. And Dan was done with bottles!

Ehh, I disagree...Elaina had the bottle taken away at 1 year and she's been fine...she may throw a fit for a couple of days but if she drinks from a sippy cup you shouldn't have too big a problem! :-) Yay for no paci!

glad you only had one nightmare night! we won't have to deal with this--mattie hasn't taken a paci in months. unfortunately, she chews on her fingers...and i can't take those away! (i think she only does it for teething, though.) m's got those same jammies, too--aren't they the cutest?
