April 2015

April began a very busy stretch for us.

The following week was Gretchen's spring break.  We were home for part of the week, but then drove down to Hilton Head.  Met Peg/Don and Dan/Meredith and their girls for a long weekend.  Outlander returned as well :)

Leaned the miracle that is essential oil. Used it on Ben. 

Sunrise Easter service. 

It was a little chilly. 

Dave took the kids to Tiger Field Day while I got my hair done.  They had a good time, and got out before the afternoon crash :)

Another weekend, we went with friends to Six Flags in GA.  

The last weekend began with the neighborhood yard sale, soccer game, and Community Tap Brew Fest.  That last one was Dave's father's day present (albeit early). 

and Sunday was Gretchen's spring choir musical. (Can't find those pics)

 

Gretchen also began ice skating lessons briefly, before the rink closed due to some catastrophic mechanical failure.  

Ben finished up soccer and got his first trophy!

Savannah Turns 5!

Savannah's birthday was a bit different this year.  All year long she asked for a birthday party at Otter Creek Water Park.  However, they did not open for the summer season until May 23rd.  So we did family stuff for her actual birthday, and then had the party in May.  

Apparently we went cake heavy...

We were geniuses and left the cake at the park. And then left a few days later for Europe so we didn't get left over cake. Oh well :)
