So they say we're having a girl! Everything measured out great and we got to see her moving around a bit. She had her legs crossed Indian-style so we had to do a bit of maneuvering to get her to cooperate. No names picked out yet, but we're excited!
The first is a head and torso shot. She's facing the "camera" and her mouth is a little open. The second is a hand and arm shot. The hand is on the left side. The elbow is on the right

OK folks.... let's all settle down a bit. Everyone is "so excited." There wasn't this kind of reaction when we brought Clemintine home (step sister and girl for those who are keeping score).
Actually, we are excited and verrry, verrry proud (get it? - Danny Ford verry, verry proud). Hehehehe...
Anyway, I think the video needs to be posted. That will get everyone excited!!!

So we're planning on posting part of the video we have and some of the u/s pictures. Dave left the pictures at work yesterday so we weren't able to scan them. The video is a different story. My doctor's office isn't exactly technically advanced so we recorded the "show" on a VHS tape. We have dubbed it onto a DVD but the quality isn't as good. If you want an understanding about that call Dave cause I don't understand. If we can figure out how to clear it up (b/c it isn't as clear on the dvd) then we'll post a few minutes. Beth Ewing if you have any suggestions, we're open!
unfortunately i only know about putting it on the computer and blog. anything before that is out of my expertise. hehe! i say just put it on as is and we'll all imagine what we're looking at. hehe! if we're looking at an ultrasound that's what we'll be doing anyway.
Congrats on having a little girl! You do know that now in school they don't say to sit "Indian-style", they say "criss cross applesauce". :)
it's scary when you can look at those and know what they are without the explanation. I promise you'll get there too. And she won't always look like an alien. hehe!
